VIRTUAL BASMA PLUS

Basma Plus virtual is a virtual fuel card that you can use in Oman Oil service stations. The card card can be used in all Oman Oil Service Stations

The virtual card can be used for online top-ups, refueling, and earning points after refueling with the topped-up balance. The physical card allows for top-ups, refueling, and earning points when refueling with either cash or card.

No, you can use your physical card like a virtual card.

You can use it as usual, or keep it in you car! it's up to you

Yes, you can add family virtual cards to your app and topup as usual

No, you can "Skip" and topup whenever you're ready

No. But if you wish to cancel the physical card and register a new virtual card then you need to contact us through the application or contact customer care 24251111

VIRTUAL PAYMENT

You can find your Oman Oil ID by tapping the "ID" icon on the top right side of the app

Yes, as long as you can pay within 60 seconds.

Yes, after providing the NSS card to the filler before fueling.

Yes. The payments on the virtual card will be done by knowing the Oman Oil ID and having the Mobile App registered to it.

Don't worry, raise a complaint from the app and we'll do the needful.

Kindly ensure that you update the Oman Oil app from your app store. Alternatively, you can delete and reinstall the app.

If you have an app account and active cards, you are already part of the program and can continue using the same benefits.

If you have an app account but no active cards, you have the following options: 1) Register a virtual card and pay online when fueling.
Collect a physical card, link it with the app, and pay as you like. 

You will need to register on the app to link your active cards and enjoy the benefits of the loyalty program.

Collect Basma card from any Oman Oil service station, register the card by scanning the QR code in your phone, after refueling you can pay with Visa or Cash then use Basma card to collect your point

Customers cannot activate more than one card at a time unless registered in the application. maximum limit is 10 cards.

After you reach the limit, a new option will show in the app to request to activate more than 10 cards (you will have to provide valid information to be approved)

MOBILE APP

Oman Oil app allows you to take full control of your card in terms of top-ups, block/unblock, view transactions, replace, view remaining balance ...etc.

Yes, we’ll bring all your registered cards to your app account once you create your personal account for the first time.

Yes, we have tied with a reliable ePayment gateway to facilitate and secure this feature for you

You can top-up your cards for any amount between 10 OMR and 2000 OMR per transaction

USING BASMA PLUS

Yes, Basma Plus is accepted in all Oman Oil Marketing service stations for refueling and top-up.

Yes, the card isn’t restricted to a single vehicle. However, you can register additional cards for every family member and still manage them using the same account/app.

Yes, the card expiry is 1 year from the last top-up. So with every top-up your card’s expiry will be extended for one additional year.

Yes. If you download the Oman Oil app you will be notified after every refueling/top-up transaction.

You can get a replacement from Oman Oil Marketing Head Office or Regional Offices (Sohar and Salalah). We’ll be adding more replacement options very soon.

Yes, it is possible kindly present NSS Card at the start of the transaction, Collect the Basma Plus card from the filler and activate the Card by scanning the barcode on the card register your number, enter the OTP and enjoy the points.

You can continue refueling normally without receiving points or you can request to receive loyalty points for every refueling through Oman Oil mobile App

No, you can only use one card. To use two or more cards, you are required to download the application and add them.

No, customers cannot activate more than 10 cards in total (both physical and virtual).
Customers can request to unlock the limit number of cards, by sending a request through the app 

NIf a customer refuels more than 4 times on the same day at different stations, points will not be awarded after the 4th time.

LOYALTY POINTS

Yes, you will be getting Oman Oil points after every refueling transaction.

The points awarding is as following:
0.5 potins for every liter of M91, M95 and Diesel.
2 points for every liter with Ultimax.
100 points for every 1 OMR purchase at Cafe Amazon.
50 points for every 1 OMR purchase at Ahlain.
100 points for every 1 OMR purchase at Optimo Swift Normal.
150 points for every 1 OMR purchase at Optimo Swift Synthetic
200 points for every 1 OMR purchase at Swift Wash

Now you'll be able to collect points from Oman Oil's full network (Ahlain, Cafe Amazon, Optimo Swift, Fuel ...etc.)

After registering your account in Oman Oil mobile app, you can use your “Oman Oil ID” which enables you to collect Points from Oman Oil outlets.

Yes, you can redeem your points for fuel credit in your Basma Plus card.

You need at least 10,000 points (worth 10 OMR) to be able to redeem points for fuel

Download Oman Oil World mobile app and go to the "Rewards" tab and select the points denomination you'd like to redeem for fuel.

TOP-UP AND RECHARGE

1. You can use OOMCO World app to do online top-up. 2. You can visit the nearest Service Station and ask the fuel attendant to top-up your card.

No, you can use OOMCO World mobile app to top-up your Basma Plus cards.

You can top-up your cards up-to 1,000 OMR at the service stations and up-to 2,000 OMR at the Mobile App and OOMCO Offices.

Yes, you can ask for a receipt at the service station after every top and you'll be getting an SMS as well.

GENERAL

Oman Oil  ID is your loyalty identification number which you can use to collect and redeem points at our stores and our partners stores.

You’ll get your Oman Oil ID right after registering in the OOMCO World App or by registering a Basma Plus card (both IDs are the same)

No, the new loyalty program is a digital loyalty program and Oman Oil ID is your identification number. Basma Plus is your Fuel Card.

Yes, the mobile app will enable you to redeem your points for fuel and e-vouchers.

Using Oman Oil App which is available at Play Store and App Store.

We are linking your Oman Oil ID to your phone number for easy reference.

FUEL POINTS

You’ll need to register a Basma Plus card which is available in many different service stations (look for the poster). So, using your Basma Plus card you’ll automatically get points after every transaction.

Points are awarded upon refueling

Points are calculated per liter and it depends on the product. M91, M95 and Diesel will award you ½ point for every liter. However, using Ultimax will award you 2 points per liter.

Using the OOMCO World App, in the rewards section you’ll get the option to redeem points for fuel by converting your points into balance in one of your Basma Plus cards.

The points will go the card registered owner.

First you must download Oman Oil app if you haven’t already.
After logging in the App, a popup dialogue will appear in your mobile app, in that popup you can send a request to receive loyalty points for every refueling (you will have to provide valid information to be approved) 

COLLECTING POINTS

We have introduced more collection methods, so now you can collect points from refueling, Ahlain stores, Café Amazon, Optimo Swift and we’ll introduce more methods soon.

Every point is worth 1 Bz.

It depends on the available e-vouchers which varies in their cost. However, for fuel redemption the minimum is 10,000 points which gives you back 10 OMR fuel balance in your Basma Plus card.

In the mobile app you’ll find a list of actions which you can do to earn free points i.e. Read a News item in the app and get 10pts.

Yes, when using your Basma Plus card you’ll automatically get points after every transaction.

Yes, you can present your OOMCO ID to the cashier and you’ll be awarded points after every transaction.

Yes, you can present your OOMCO ID to the cashier and you’ll be awarded points after every transaction.

Action points are accumulated loyalty points which helps in moving to a higher level.

TIERS AND LEVELS

Yes, the program has 3 levels/tiers Silver, Gold and Platinum.

All new registrants will start at the Silver level.

You’ll be able to get more points from your normal transactions, plus you’ll unlock more offers and promotions.

The more points you get the faster you can move to the higher level. The best way to move to the next level is to shop from our non fuel stores such as Ahlain and Cafe Amazon. Moreover, you can get free points from doing certain tasks which are listed in the app.

POINTS EXPIRY

Yes, every point you get has an expiry of 2 year.

We’ll send you an SMS/Email a month before your points expire so you get the chance to redeem them.

Points will automatically expire after 1 year.

No, points can’t be transferred but you can always redeem your points for e-vouchers.

REDEEMING POINTS

To redeem your points, you’ll need to register in the OOMCO World App which is available at Play Store and App Store, then you’ll be able to find different ways to redeem your points.

You can redeem your points in OOMCO’s full network, in addition to selected partners which you’ll have access to using the e-vouchers.

OOMCO’s network will be fully covered, however our partners will be at selected locations which will be mentioned in the e-voucher.

Always check the conditions section in the e-voucher to know which locations are accepting the e-voucher. However, if this store belongs to OOMCO then please register a complaint using the app against the store and our customer support will rectify the issue.

Yes, there’s an expiry date which is visible on the e-voucher itself. Once the expiry date has been reached the e-voucher will disappear from your list.

Claimed e-vouchers are moved to the “My Rewards” tab in the OOMCO World App. You can swipe-down to refresh the list. However, if the e-voucher didn’t show up within the first few minutes, please register a complaint using the app.

DIGITAL GIFT VOUCHERS

1. Go to the Rewards section in the OOMCO World App and tap on the Lulu Gift Voucher option.
2. Select the amount and number of points you wish to redeem.
3. Press on ‘see how it works’ to understand how to use the Voucher.
4. Press redeem and confirm your choice.
5. You will receive a message ‘Voucher Successfully Redeemed’. Tap on Save and then go to “My Gift Cards” to see your voucher with its unique code.
6. Go to Lulu Hypermarket and at checkout share your voucher with the cashier to redeem it and enjoy your savings

1. Go to the Rewards section in the OOMCO World App and tap on the Talabat Voucher option.
2. Select the amount and number of points you wish to redeem.
3. Press on ‘see how it works’ to understand how to use the Voucher.
4. Press redeem and confirm your choice.
5. You will receive a message ‘Voucher Successfully Redeemed’. Tap on save to go to “My Gift Cards” to see your voucher with its unique code.
6. You can also copy the code by tapping on the copy button next to it or take a screenshot.
7. Now, place your order on the Talabat App and make sure it is at least 100 Baiza more than the amount of the voucher you are attempting to use.
8. In the order Basket select the option “Add Voucher”.
9. Enter voucher code and tap on Use voucher.
10. Discount will be applied to your order as per your selected voucher and you will only be charged the net amount after savings.

2. Select the Brand, Amount and number of Points you wish to redeem.
3. Press on ‘see how it works’ to understand how to use the Voucher.
4. Enter your email address in the required field.
5. Press redeem and confirm your choice.
6. You will get a success message stating that you will receive your gift card at the email address you entered within 24 hours.
7. Once your request is processed, the gift card will be emailed to you on the email address entered during redemption.
8. You will also receive a pdf copy of the gift card in the “my gift cards” section of OOMCO World within the 24-hour period with a notification alert in the app.
9. Go to retail outlet of the brand mentioned on the gift card and at checkout share your voucher with the cashier to redeem it and enjoy your savings.

No, vouchers are already activated and ready to be used instantly.

In case you did not receive your voucher within the specified amount of time, please register a complaint on the app or with our call center stating your OOMCO ID and date of redemption.

In case there is any issue with using the voucher at a retail outlet please first check the expiry on the voucher.

Also review the merchant’s terms and conditions mentioned on the voucher. In case the voucher is not expired and there is no violation of the terms mentioned, then please register a complaint on the app or with our call center stating your OOMCO ID and a snapshot of the voucher. If you are unable to share an image of the voucher, then please share the voucher code as part of the complaint.

You don’t need to print out the voucher since cashier can scan directly from the phone screen or manually enter the code if the screen is clear and bright enough.

Please ensure to keep your unused voucher copy safe and secure. In case, there is a balance on the voucher and someone else uses it then the balance on that voucher cannot be claimed anymore.

Digital Gift vouchers are of fixed denominations and balance cannot topped-up/reused.

OOMCO will not refund points used for redemption against gift cards. Please ensure your OOMCO World account is only accessed by you.

OOMCO bears no responsibility for quality or other features of any product/services for which these gift vouchers are exchanged. In case of an issue with the product or service received, please refer to the customer support of the concerned merchant that issued that card.

For Lulu: No, you need to avail the voucher value in single transaction only.

For You Got A Gift: If you are taking the voucher as is to the cashier, you will have to use the full value in single transaction.

For Talabat: The voucher is a discount voucher and can only with used with one order. There is also a minimum order amount that applies to any voucher denomination i.e. for 1 OMR voucher, minimum order amount should be 1.100 OMR, for 2 OMR voucher, the minimum order amount should be is 2.100 OMR and for 3 OMR voucher, the minimum order amount should be 3.100 OMR.

No, once the voucher is redeemed & issued, you cannot return it or exchange it for any other brand or cash amount.

Validity is mentioned on every voucher copy specifically and shown in the app itself in the Rewards section. Every voucher has a different validity, so please ensure to use it before it expires.

Once your voucher has expired, you cannot use it anymore and the balance is forfeited.

You can simply tap on the "spin" icon at the top corner of the mobile app main screen

The spin & win will be enabled every 7 days. The survey and pop quiz will be enabled once every two weeks or every month.

You can redeem your points for e-vouchers or accumulate points for fuel. Read more at the Reward Program page
